| Partnership Between DePaul University
and PAN: |
| DePaul University, School for New Learning
(SNL) http://snl.depaul.edu
has embarked upon a partnership with PAN that allows DePaul
University to provide sponsorship in the form of a home
base for the PAN Certificate Program. Furthermore, this
partnership fosters collaboration with the SNL Master
of Arts Program in Applied Professional Studies. Students
may apply work completed in the PAN Certificate Program
toward fulfilling requirements in the SNL MA program,
including a concentration in animal assisted therapy or
a related area. The SNL MA program is not available in
a distance learning format at this time. Both organizations
believe this successful partnership offers exciting and
unique opportunities for those with interests in the application,
usage, as well as research development of animal relationships
in applied therapy within the edifice of higher education.
PAN also partners with DePaul University’s Office
of Continuing and Professional Education http://www.learning.depaul.edu/about/centers/hr.asp
to provide CEU's (Continuing Education Units). The certificate
program can be taken independently of Masters Program.
To matriculate in the Masters program, a student must
apply to and be accepted by DePaul University. |
